Introduced in 1990, the MS Fantasy was the first of eight “Fantasy” class cruise ships built by Kværner Masa-Yards Helsinki. Its fresh, modern design, highlighted by the iconic wing funnel, made a significant impact on the cruise industry. After a distinguished 30-year career, the MS Fantasy was sold for scrap and dismantled in Aliağa, Turkey, following the unforeseen shutdown of the cruise industry in 2020.
