Super Liners Illustration Set
This set of illustrations pays tribute to the final era of the Super Liners, which concluded in the early 1970s with the rise of air travel. Featuring Cunard Line’s RMS Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2), French Line’s SS France, and Italian Line’s SS Raffaello and SS Michelangelo, these ships defined luxury transatlantic travel. As demand for large, class-divided passenger ships waned, many shipping companies faced closure. Among them, the RMS Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2) stood out, with her adaptable design allowing regular Atlantic crossings until her retirement in 2008. This set celebrates three iconic vessels:
- SS Raffaello (1965)
- SS France (1962)
- RMS Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2)
